It's a bit run down, but clean and the staff are knowledgable and friendly. I've had lunch here twice in the last month and both times I had the moussaka and it was fantastic! They could cut down on the garlic a bit… but, I still had to return a 2nd time for it so it was pretty great. 1st time I went with my dad and he thought the lamb was only okay and found the potatoes a bit too lemon-ie. 2nd time I went with my mom and she loved the 1/2 rack of ribs with lasagna. Big portion and very tasty.
We had been told this was a great restaurant and the food was amazing, so we were quite disappointed. The food was nothing special. The service was alright but not exceptional. I wouldn't go here again.
My husband and I are from the north of BC, had the best Greek food there, the service was above and beyond. I recommend this restaurant and will be going back next spring when we visit the island again
The appetizer platter number 1 was generous, satisfying and well priced. It is a pleasant restaurant that we will return to for a light meal, though I hear that the lamb is their star dish. They have some non-Greek desserts, as well as baklava, but I would really like to see bougatsa added to the menu. Friendly, efficient service. All-in-all, a very good, not great restaurant and I'll go back.
Friendly staff, but the food is just ok -- I'm not sure what the problem is, but the flavours just don't come through -- it's as though the kitchen thinks Canadians can't stand any herbs and spices so the few times I've eaten at Pegasus I've left full -- the portions are generous -- but disappointed.
