Corner House - Duncan

This place makes the best Chinese food in the region by a significant margin. It’s always very fresh and high quality which is why almost every person I saw at the restaurant was ordering the same Chinese combo. Superb. Easily the best in town. Pork has a light crisp to it so you know it’s not reheated. Everything tastes fresh. Very balanced flavours. 15min wait but that’s reasonable given the quality.Value: 4/5 The portion sizes are decent for an $18 combo. About average for this region. A bit awkward. Very small inside and no front counter so you walk in and start hunting for a table. It feels cramped. Things are very compact due to the layout. Finding parking this area can be difficult; street parking only. It was a very cold day outside and it was a bit chilly inside.

Excellent little diner independent diners like this seem to be less and less common, and are probably my favorite type of restaurant... I fully endorse the breakfast options here!

I’ve been eating here for years. Top notch service, Consistent, delicious food and behemoth proportions. You haven’t been to Duncan unless you’ve been to the Corner House! I officially give them an extra star…

The ladies are really nice, very good customer service. ? The food was just okay. Kinda like bingo hall or school cafeteria qaulity. It'll do if you're hungry.
