Tokyo Grill Express Duncan

Tokyo Grill Express is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants I've visited in Duncan. While Fuji might be a bit better, I still really enjoy this place. The staff is nice, friendly, and very easy to communicate with.

I'm really happy I finally decided to try this restaurant. It was exceptionally clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and fresh! I will definitely be coming back.

I tried to get the attention of the waiter for more soy sauce, but he ignored me. Another customer had to intervene and tell the waiter that I needed assistance. When he finally approached, I also asked to add another dish to my order. After finishing my meal, I went back to the counter to pay. The same young man was there, clearly seeing me but choosing to greet the customers behind me instead. I decided to wait until he was finished before trying to get his attention again. But then another guest arrived, and he greeted them while completely ignoring me once more. Feeling frustrated, I spoke up to get his attention, which I found utterly unacceptable and rude. On top of that, the carrots served with my meal were soft and mushy. Overall, my experience was quite disappointing.

The first time in a while at this place. The food was great and my waitress made the experience even better. Very knowledgeable about the menu and so hospitable. Didn't catch her name, but she saw her 20s or something. I will make this place a regular stop every week!

Marvin was my server and he was 10/10 I couldn?t have asked for better. Always on the ball and attentive. Had extensive menu knowledge and seemingly a lot of experience. Food is great. Sushi is phenomenal and Yakitori is so amazing. Would definitely return!
