The Earth's Crust Bakery

After purchasing a delicious loaf here last year, we decided to stop in again. This time, I opted for a Homity Pie for dinner later. It was absolutely delicious.

We visited this restaurant for some croissants and a cappuccino, and both were fantastic! The homemade croissants were possibly even better than the ones we've had in Paris. This hidden gem tucked away in a side street is definitely worth a visit. We will definitely be returning in the future!

After reading reviews, we decided to stop by this town on a day trip and grab some treats to bring home. However, we were really disappointed when the man at the counter didn't speak to us at all; he just stood there and looked at us. It was not welcoming at all.

We came across this bakery when looking for food for a picnic. What a great place. Everything is made on site and to the highest standards. My husband chose sausage rolls and I had a slice of vegetable and feta quiche. This was some of the very best food we’ve ever tasted. We also bought drinks and some dried fruit. I’d eat there every day if I could. Absolute perfection.

We recently visited Castle Douglas and bought a takeaway picnic from Earth's Crust. Everything was really great, service was friendly, and the ethos of the business is fantastic. Highly recommended!
