Przekaż informację zwrotnąI have been a regular at The Village for several years now, usually frequenting the pub. However, during an early morning trip, I stopped by Starbucks on the way back for a coffee. I was greeted by two smiling faces at 6:15am, and the coffee was excellent. Kim and Henrietta were a credit to Starbucks, and it was certainly an excellent way to start my day.
I believe that ignoring people is extremely rude and shows a lack of regard for others. During a recent visit to a restaurant in Italy, my partner received a poor meal after he ignored the manager's greeting at the door. While my meal was fine, I was disappointed when my partner waited at the bar for 10 minutes without any acknowledgement from the three busy bar staff. I approached the bar to inquire about the lack of service, which resulted in the bartender expressing displeasure at my tone. We ultimately decided to leave the establishment and informed the staff of our reasons for doing so. In my opinion, it is important for businesses to treat their customers with respect, as ignoring them can negatively impact the overall experience. My partner also noticed that the staff had been watching a football match while cleaning, which may have contributed to the lack of attention to his presence. However, I did not observe this personally.
After a 10-minute wait to check in, we were asked to pay the extra fee. They even tried to charge us for the robes, but eventually waived that fee. Feeling like we had no choice, we paid the extra charges to avoid losing our spa day. We had planned to relax in the pool, steam room, and jacuzzi, but the pool was crowded with children and swimming lessons were taking place. With only one lane available for swimming, my mother, who is 75 and a slow swimmer, felt uncomfortable and we decided to skip the pool. Despite the disappointing start, our treatments were enjoyable and the showers were nice. However, the atmosphere in the pub area where we had our cream tea was loud and chaotic, filled with men and children watching football. It was a far cry from the peaceful experience we had during our last visit for afternoon tea. Overall, I did not feel like I had a relaxing pamper day and actually felt more stressed than when I arrived. I have had much better experiences elsewhere and will not be returning. The total cost of the day came to £138, almost the full price of the package. I plan to write a letter of complaint to the hotel management regarding our disappointing experience.
Regular customer who has stayed at almost all village hotels in the uk. The Sunday stay and eat deal is amazing value. Again I’ve experienced an excellent two course meal in the verve grill restaurant in the Dudley hotel. All restaurant staff were attentive and informative, in particular Paf, the duty manager. He was friendly and professional in answering my queries about future stays I have planned. Would recommend both this hotel and the restaurant to anybody. Well done guys keep up the hard work! Merry Xmas
Used the conference rooms here for 2 days and very happy with the service. Reception staff on both days were very friendly and helpful as were the lady and gent who looked after us in the rooms and hub making sure we had everything we needed.. Both rooms we used were just what we required, clean and modern with good Wi-Fi and monitors. I would defiantly return.
