Maggie's Tea Room - Sunderland

Very practical for those who travel on a1. Although located in an industrial area, this is anything but industry. the tea room is beautifully decorated and gives them a feeling of alice in the wonderland teeparty. eating is great and fresh. we'll be back here!

That is out of the beaten track and we went when the toby carvery nearer was closed by kovid. we all had a nice full English breakfast before we went to beamish. rupture was decent and filling. that's a nice tee room. a nice enthusiasm. the personal was really friendly and super fun. highly recommended.

Great place, great service, good eating an excellent value for money. my fantastic partner and I drove to beamish and stayed in washington. he started the day to maggie’s. dog-friendly, had bauchbuster breakfast, which is not only massive, but really high quality. Special...mention, I had a latte, omg so good I had a second.

Just found that this tee room randomly as we were in the cake decoration business next to the door, excellent, delicious, friendly brilliant teeroom, must visit when in the opposite

Was shopping in the area and noticed this little gem, as we were feeling hungry thought we would give it a try. Wow what can I say had the corn beef and potatoe pie with all the trimmings and the only word to use is...SUPERB the pie was excellent consistency (no soggy bottoms here), the chips were unbelievably tastey no grease or oil residue and fresh vegetables, well worth the price. Will definitely recommend this to friends and family and will most certainly visit again
