Unfortunately, they are not able to honor our booking. We have been trying to reach them for a refund of our deposit, but have not been successful yet.
During our first trip to Dublin, we visited several city attractions and dined at some great restaurants. However, The Larder was definitely the standout among them all.
My husband and I were recommended The Larder by a nearby LGBT bar (that doesn't serve food) as a great spot for lunch. The atmosphere is stylish, the staff are friendly, and the food is amazing. We tried the smoked applewood, mushroom, and leek quiche from the specials board, as well as a reuben sandwich, both of which were accompanied by a delicious mix of two salads. The quiche was especially outstanding. I highly recommend this place.
My mother and I enjoyed a wonderful meal tonight. We opted for the early bird menu, which included a delicious soup, dips, bread, hake, and steak. The food came out quickly and we never felt rushed. I have also had lunch here during the week and will now be recommending The Larder for both lunch and dinner.
My dining experience at The Larder was delightful. Located at the outskirts of the Temple Bar district, it offered a quieter atmosphere compared to the bustling heart of the area. The starters and mains we ordered were excellent, particularly the gnocchi and Jake dish. The staff provided exceptional service. I would highly recommend dining at The Larder if you are in Dublin.
