My wife and I love this diner. We live in Metamora but would rather go here for a delicious breakfast then anywhere else!
Before I moved to the area I stopped here on occasion and enjoyed bringing guests here. About 7 years ago when we started building our house this became my go to place as prices were reasonable and the food above average. At the time I got to know the staff a little and was impressed with their small town hospitality. Living up here we love the Dryden Coney Island more than ever. We’ve never had a bad meal, the prices and portions are fair, and the staff is pure Michigan small town friendly.
Stopped in to order a carry out and they wouldn’t let me order kids meals because my kids weren’t with me. I thought they were joking at first but they definitely were not. So I had to order my 1 year old son the dinner portion. Food was pretty good though.
Great place for breakfast and lunch. Pretty quick service and good portions. Would recommend breakfast and their burgers.
