If you ever want a quick pub style lunch, and you are in Drummoyne, you just cannot beat this pub's lunch time special steak meal.

My wife and I have had several mid week lunches here since the hotel was renovated under new management. We have always been met with a friendly smile and pleasant, helpful staff. One has the choice of siting in front of the bar on stools, in a more relaxing mode in the lounge, and, if you are just having a drink, enjoy the very pleasant garden area to the rear.The menu has new additions every couple of months and, from our limited experience, the food is well cooked and presented. I particularly enjoyed the beef and guinness pie. At the weekend ( Fri.,Sat., and Sun. ) the upstairs area is open and gives a more modern, light and airy atmosphere, if that is to your liking. Today Michael, the owner, came over to our table to ask us if we had enjoyed our lunch (we had!) and was well aware of the need for good customer service. We recommend you give this hotel a visit.
