The Original Green Olive - Downey

Wow, I was passing by and decided to try their food and I was not disappointed. The wrap beef fillet is amazing ????. The food presentation and the banana slices are amazing. Too bad their restaurant is too far from my regular commute other wise I'dreturn again and again... HIGHLY recommended. The green sauce is delicious.

First visit. Read so many good things about this place. I placed a simple kid's meal order for my senior citizen mom. And an extra skewer and dessert. 30 minutes later 9 finally get my order to go. I ask the girl ... does it always take 30 minutes for ato go order. She replied yeah she had to grab the baklava out of the freezer. Ugh. I don't even want to eat anything. Let's seewhat mom says about it.

I truly enjoy this place, the humus is a little tastier then store bought, the chicken is usually cooked perfectly moist but completely cooked and the flavor makes it easy for this guy to eat healthier. The Filet Mingon is tender flavorful. The greensauce taste good I keep coming back. I order the food and around the block I park at the park and enjoy. Because the dining areais to small and the tables are sticky. But they still get five stars because the service is generous as are their portions. Ihighly recommend, phone in your order to save wait time.

I would not recommend this place to anyone, tried this place on 10/25/22 only to get the worst stomach flu the next day and continuing to battle today, and have been bed ridden and making runs to the toilet every 20 minutes. I had to miss a wedding oftwo of my important friends due to the flu i contracted from then food here. The employees at this restaurant needs to practiceproper hand hygiene or wash the salads better.

Waited 40 minutes for our order. Kept inquiring about it and was told it?s coming up it was a sandwich soup and hummus. How long could that take? Wasn?t that crowded either. Once we got the food I was hoping it would have been worth the wait. Itwasn?t. The chicken vegetable soup has like a medicinal, not in a good way, taste to it. Sorry not pleased Green Olive with theservice or the food Won?t be going back.
