Brickstones Grill - Downey

Restaurant only had a few customers when I arrived. Grabbed my happy hour drinks before I sat down, thank goodness because service was super slow even though it was not busy when I arrived. Had the margarita pizza, which was cold by the time I got it. It still tasted ok but not like it should have. Cheese was solid instead of melted like it should have been on a hot pizza. Server brought the check before she brought the food. I wanted to order dessert, but the server never came back. I could have walked out without paying for as much service as I received but went to the bartender and had him cash me out. Super disappointed with my experience. For the price charged, the food should have been hot, and service should have been better.

Closed before closing time. People travel from far to be here. We came all the way from New Jersey to stay at this hotel because we thought we were going to get good service here, and we did not. It's a Saturday night, and we paid $300 to be here at this hotel, and this is not what we paid for. We did not pay for the hotel restaurant to be closed early

I checked into the hotel on a Monday night and went downstairs for dinner, but the only option available was the bar. Unfortunately, the bar menu was quite limited. This wasn't what I had in mind for a relaxing dinner after a long day of travel, as I found myself surrounded by loud patrons and sports on TV. I decided to venture next door to a quieter sit-down restaurant instead.

Me and my son got a delicious pepperoni pizza. It was incredible!! I was told Tha it’s pricy and blah blah blah but DAMN!! I was soooo happy with how delicious it was and my son being a pizza lover definitely enjoyed this one.

Bad customer service, We have been coming to this location. for more then 10 years. even during the pandemic my wife and I came to stayed here but, the service is getting worse and worse,exp . bartender did not want to give us a drink because it was happy hour and he was not going to cut the line. He, made us do the line. We were going to keep drinking and order food and we usually tip decent. After happy hour had ended, The bar was empty.Their system is bad. I blame management. Most likely will be our last stay here.
