Alberto's Mexican Food - Downey

I ordered fish tacos, but the fish was burnt and soggy, almost as if they had refried it. I didn't even bother to eat the second one.

We had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was terrible; our server seemed quite bitter. I ordered beef broth, and I can't believe they only provided a tiny spoon for it. We also ordered a side of potatoes, and they didn’t even give us any ketchup. The sodas were warm, which was frustrating. While the food itself was acceptable, it didn’t match the price we paid. Overall, I left feeling quite unsatisfied.

I had a carne asada burrito and it was awful! It had no flavor whatsoever, and the rice tasted completely bland. There were more beans and rice than anything else in the burrito. Definitely not worth the $13!

I had got the carne asada burrito and I added shrimp. Good portions and the best burrito I’ve ever had. The salsa that comes on the side makes the burrito even better I loved it and it’s one of my cravings now. If you’re pregnant and crave burritos I definitely recommend!

How does this place not have 5 stars. Best caldo in town and their super burrito is incredible. Love their service too
