Tenderbones Rib Shack - Dover

My family and I ordered more than $50 worth of food yesterday, and it was disappointing. We've ordered from this restaurant many times before, and the food is usually fresh and delicious. However, we were shocked to receive six overcooked, burnt ribs, and the pork sandwich was dry, even with the barbecue sauce. The only items we could enjoy were the sides, which included tasty mac and cheese and greens. I know the chef personally, so I’m going to assume he wasn't there when this meal was prepared or sent out. For now, we’ll take a break and see if things improve during our next visit.

The food and service were excellent. We will definitely return!

I have been trying to purchase a $100 gift certificate from the Dover location for the past four weeks, but apparently, only Chef Bones can handle that. I've been given various times when he would be available. Between my daughter and me, we've visited over 12 times, including on Thanksgiving. I even asked the staff member in Dover if she could create the card once she got in touch with Chef Bones, so I could just pick it up. Unfortunately, that wasn't an option.

Everything was really dry, except the cheesesteak- it was soggy...and the mac cheese was greasy. The dining room was empty, but very clean, and the staff was pleasant.
