Best seafood in Delaware...period! I love that you walk into an unpretentious mid-century nondescript building to find a vibrant 60's vibe in its decor. That's just the beginning! Only open 25 hours a week, Dennis and Caroline have it down. Oysters sashimi or spicy scallops to start with...and entrees that melt in your mouth! My wife and I visit relatives here once a year and make a point of visiting 2-3 times each trip. Kudos from Illinois!

If you have never tried Cool Springs Fish Bar and Restaurant, you are missing a terrific dining experience. From the moment that you are greeted by their lovely hostesses, your dining experience is so worth while trying. You will be hooked as we have been for the last eighteen plus years. Always consistent, lovely presentation, friendly knowledgeable staff and an atmosphere that will keep you coming back time after time. The menu is varied for the fish lover, the meat lover, pasta lover and much more. There may be lots of cars in their parking lot as it is shared with their other fantastic restaurant names Restaurant 55. Another must try-best burgers and beers. but don't let the vehicles keep you away. You seriously must enjoy a terrific dinner. Maybe today???

We went to Cool Springs to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The entire meal was absolutely delicious. The seafood is fresh and everything from the appetizers to dessert was fantastic. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. This was our first visit but won't be our last.

Great food and service! Best place in town. The Pan Roast is my favorite meal along with their special pineapple martini. You must try it. Excellent food for your taste buds.

Started with a chocolate martini and it was delicious! We have the scallops for an appetizer and I had the artichoke/cheese soup that was amazing. For dinner, crab imperial and the hubby had stuffed shrimp. Everything was fabulous! No room for dessert but they looked so good I was wishing I wasn’t so full. By the way, the dill salad dressing is the best.
