Smoothie King - Douglasville

The customer service at this restaurant is lacking, with unsupervised young employees who are more focused on playing around than attending to customers. The overall appearance of the business is not very professional. The young lady who served us seemed hesitant and unsure when it came to explaining the menu. However, the food quality was decent enough.

I arrived at the restaurant at 8:50pm on Saturday night, but despite the door being open, they refused to serve me. They informed me that they were already closed as they were cleaning up. When I questioned what time they closed, I was told 9pm. I pointed out that it was not yet 9pm, but the person insisted that they were closing early and wanted to go home.

I ordered a large smoothie using a $5 coupon and added fiber to it. Unfortunately, the manager did not put the top on tightly, causing the smoothie to spill to the left as I inserted the straw. The entire top came off, but I managed to catch it before it reached my girlfriend's purse. I showed the mess to the manager, explaining that the spill happened because the top was not secure. However, he dismissed my complaint with a casual "tough luck" and said Nate, the manager, was on vacation and could not be bothered. Frustrated, I requested a refund instead of a remake of the smoothie.

Bad customer service will not disturb definitiw to come back.

Love the angel eating smoothie is with peanut butter. it is my new favorite and this place is beautiful and the ladies who work there are really friendly.
