Pizza Mambo - Douglas

All I can say about this place is that I absolutely love it, from the first time I walked in I felt welcome. Their pizza is sooooo delicious and the crust is perfectly crisp, a must have is the special Gorgonzola dressing if you get a salad or to dip your crust in cause that’s what I do and honestly you’ll end up wanting more.

They are so friendly here! They make us feel so welcome everytime we walk in the door. The El Supremo pizza and house salad are amazing! We found this place when on vacation and came back to the area so we could come back here (2 1/2 hours away). Try them and you will be so happy you did!

We have had numerous great dining experiences at Pizza Mambo over the past number of years and we just had to comment. Every pizza we have ordered has been exceptional. The pizza is a thin crust with just the right combination of chewy and wonderfully crunchy. The house made pizza sauces, specialty blend of cheeses and choice of numerous gourmet toppings add up to a truly delicious pizza. We have enjoyed pizza with either the house made marinara sauce or their pesto sauce pizza with roasted garlic and artichoke hearts. Both are well worth ordering. The Greek salad is the best we have ever had bar none. The salad greens are so fresh and the house made dressing with amazing feta cheese are just the best. We have also very much enjoyed the four cheese lasagna. We ordered it with marinara sauce and it was out of this world delicious! Finally we just had to top off the meal with a slice of the house made key lime pie, it is the best we have ever tasted! The owners are friendly and completely committed to providing the highest quality food and experience. Even the outside dining area is so lovely. It is like sitting in a beautiful flower garden while enjoying your food. If you are anywhere near Saugatuck, we highly recommend stopping by Pizza Mambo.

My wife and I were looking for an Italian restaurant when we saw Pizza Mambo online, so we thought we'd check it out. Turns out it's basically a carryout, but it did have two tables inside and three round picnic tables out in the garden area. I ordered a small pizza, it was absolutely delicious, one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. My wife ordered a Greek salad and she said it was the best greek salad she's ever eaten. So the food is outstanding, the people friendly as they could be, but it's just a small little takeout place with two tables inside. If this review was helpful, please give me a thumbs up.
