Asadero El Güero - Douglas

I recently dined at Douglas for the first time, and I can't recommend it enough! The service was outstanding, and the food was truly delicious. The restaurant is well-maintained and inviting, with very reasonable prices. Keep up the fantastic work—I will certainly be back for another meal! Plus, it’s very family-friendly, boasting a warm atmosphere and a spotless environment.

The meal was expensive and the portion sizes were small. I ordered the Big Burro Macho, but it didn’t have enough meat for the price I paid.

We thought this restaurant would be a good choice because it was busy on a Sunday evening. Everyone in our large group agreed that the food was delicious, even though we struggled to understand the menu. I ordered a veggie burrito, but when the server asked if I wanted chicken in it, I said yes. It ended up being more of a chicken wrap than a traditional burrito, which was tasty but smaller than I expected and missing the usual rice and beans! Despite the mix-up, it was still really good, and I guess I misunderstood what I was ordering. The restaurant was very clean, the staff was friendly, and the service was quick.

I had an incredible carne asada plate at this restaurant. It was served with all the tasty sides and accompaniments. Honestly, it's the best I've ever had!

The mesquite grill in the heart of the kitchen prepares the best carne asada tacos. The French fries are excellent as well.
