Y'all it is great here ! The food, the atmosphere, the staff , is all amazing! I had blackened alligator for the first time and it was delicious and tender. I would normally order fried, but I wanted something a little different. The red beans and rice were tasty , as was the sweet corn grits. My wife loved the catfish Acadian as well. It's fried Louisiana catfish smothered in crawfish etouffe' on a bed of white rice. DELICIOUSNESS !!!! Our waiter, now y'all, she was on it from the get go with refills and making sure we enjoyed a relaxing dinner. Your tounge will slap your eyebrows with excitement!!
Got a side order of red beans and rice with a side salad. It was delicious I didn't even take any photos. I ate the food so fast.
Stopped in for a cup of gumbo and their awesome sweet tea. Bread was a bit charred but still yummy. I love those days when I just get a craving for Don's seafood gumbo 7/4/24 Didn't want to cook with most of the fam off with friends celebrating independence day, so my youngest son suggested we go out. Ofc, we chose our fav spot DONS!! We each got the seafood combo with gumbo along with a zydeco shrimp appetizer. Amazing as always. We are never disappointed at Don's bc the food is always fresh and delicious, the service is wonderful and the atmosphere is fun.
Don's I'm an excellent Cajun restaurant. The crayfish etouffee was spot on. Stick to your rids goodness. Highly recommend if you crave food from the big easy.
