Place all setup for service, little display dipping sauces out etc. Service staff walk past me and say we are not open, we open at 10 , yes just like that, no sorry we aren 't open even though we have food in display cabinet and look like we are. I said Oh what is the time? , no reply. I pull out my phone and and it was 9:56am. Part of me felt like standing at the counter for four minutes staring at them, waiting for the clock to tick over to the magical 10:00am, but couldn 't be bothered. Went and spent my money with someone more deserving. Is it possible you could perhaps have a sign at the counter displaying when you open so that I can work it out myself and not have to have such a rude conversation with a staff member who doesn 't appear to be very happy with their job? Have had these rolls before and they are nothing to write home about. Doubt I will now be back.
This place seems like an exact copy of rolld but the flavours just aren't there Pho broth is super tasteless even when you add condiments. Sucks bc it seemed like a good foodcourt option
Delicious range of Vietnamese food at Doncaster Shopping Town! i love coming to Mama Pho for a quick meal as they are super quick and very fresh! I had the vermicelli bun with beef! super friendly staff and reasonable prices
Mama Pho is situated at the main entrance of Westfield Doncaster's food court so it has an almost perfect location. Unfortunately, what is served up is no where near perfect. Yes, the pho bowls are over priced but this is not surprising given its location. The pho noodles were powdery and not enticing. The pho broth was one dimensional and lacked the complex flavours I normally expect from any standard pho. I had to dip the meat in hoisin sauce to jump start my taste buds. All in all, a disappointing experience.
I've really enjoyed it here. I've had the rice paper rolls and the bao. The food was so fresh and delicious. I'm looking forward to eating here again
