Pizzeria Le Sommatino - Dijon

Very pleasant terrace . The waitress is really involved and gives good advices regarding the menu Difficult to find an Italian restaurant with Risottos and morevoer with original Risottos : I have never eaten fennel risotto and it was excellent We will go back surely the next months !

The waitress was lovely and spoke good English. Unfortunately the service was slow, we waited 10 minutes to get a menu and our table cleaned. When the pizza arrived three quarters was burnt underneath, so basically inedible. I asked for a carafe of wine twice and it still did not arrive. A bit disappointing.

As a Dijon born and raised, this is like my absolute number one for pizzas and pastas in Dijon. the Calzone is what I prefer, but you have loads of other choices. A bit far from the city center, it is though close to Les Allees du Parc, leafy and relaxing walk through the chestnut trees. The restaurant is pretty small but very traditional and cosy, perfect for a date night or to go as a small family or little group of friends. I've been crazy for it for 10 years...!

We came to family in a hollow period (evening in August) and thus reduced affluence. Overall I found that the work of this new direction is satisfactory. strong points according to me:- pizzas and milanaise tested: quantity and taste ok - normal prices so ras points to work without it being problematic:- joviality in the room my doubts:- wait time by high affluence, noon for example. see in situation. in synthesis of what I saw and consumed: I recommend this establishment. -

The warm welcome didn't inspire confidence. After a few minutes, the waitress relaxes and we finally order the aperitif! wait time long but the plate, a salmon tartare, arrives and it's just excellent! atmosphere and nice atmosphere but be careful not to lose the smile in his job ... it is the welcome that we always hold first!
