Sonic Drive-in - Dewitt

The restaurant is good for fast food, but the overall experience was not great. We went through the drive-thru and they forgot our sauces. When I tried to get their attention by knocking on the window, they ignored me and laughed and spoke on the other side of the building. After waiting for 10 minutes, I had to drive around and go through the drive-thru again to get their attention. While the cheese sticks were good, the lack of customer service left much to be desired. Overall, a mediocre visit.

The food at this restaurant was delicious and affordable, but the wait times were a bit excessive. I waited over 25 minutes in line, then over 10 minutes for my order to be taken, and another 15 to 20 minutes for my order to be prepared. It appeared that there were only two employees running the entire restaurant, as they even closed some of their rides. Despite the long wait, the prices were reasonable.

The fries and burgers were excellent. It took about 20 minutes to place my order and receive my food, even though there was no one else in line before me. I would have been more interested in my $7 popcorn chicken if it was included in my order.

Here a total of three visits, every time false food. Waited 55 minutes last visit and never received food. It was made several times via loudspeakers. Finally, where I was told that my order was somehow skipped, at what time it immediately prepared my order. Was still wrong, but I could no longer wait and only ate what I received (food itself was not bad)

A group of five of us had to wait in line at the drive-thru for 35 minutes to get our order. I don’t even think the line moved at all for 20 of them. No hate to the employees – they seem critically understaffed and stretched thin if anything – but management should really do something about handling the rush hour crowds. A 35 minute wait at a fast food drive-thru is kind of insane and I’m glad I didn’t have anything else to attend to that day.
