Mama Maria's Restaurant And Beach Bar

A heat wave hit Dewey so no better place to get cooled off than Mama, 's chilly indoor restaurant! Enjoyed the jazzy dinner music they have for dinner. A nice break from the loud noise of Dewey. As 100% picky Italian this really is one of the only spots at beach that has good Italian food. I tend to lean towards the pasta dishes but their seafood muscles clams calamari are also good. I also really like their Italian sub. Like the thick slices of tomato that i add fresh basil to and kick it up... Their Margherita Pizza is excellent! The rare to find at any Italian rest stuffed rice ball appetizer is a must! Yes! Their prices are high but that 's the RT 1 location

New Year's Adventure at Mama Maria's Ring in the New Year with a surprise at every turn! On a spontaneous drive to Baltimore, took a deviation and we stopped by Dewey Beach and stumbled upon the unassuming Mama Maria's. What seemed like a simple order-at-the-counter spot turned into so much more! Swipe left to step through the doors with us into a world of high ceilings, bright lights, and a cozy dining haven. Our waitress Teresa greeted us with warmth and a smile, guiding us veggie lovers through a menu bursting with options. We indulged in a veggie pizza loaded with onions, mushrooms, olives, peppers, and more – each bite better than the last! Pair that with classic mozzarella sticks and a glass of exquisite red wine, and you've got a meal to remember. But wait, there's more!

I went here, and the two men working there were very strange people, as if they had just committed a murder of some sort. The food was mid, but the atmosphere was creepy and I felt as if I was placed right in the middle of a Supernatural episode. The experience was bad, it made me want to run into traffic.
