Cypress Lakes Country Club - Destrehan

Nice Club with large pool and tennis facilities. Golf course fairways in perfect condition but the greens, while consistent, were all browned out and very slow. Still high marks for service and quality!

Had a little golf outing with some buddies at cypress lakes. Green fee was around 60$ which was way over priced for the course conditions. They have recently re did the drains around the course so there are bare spots on a few selected holes. We played closest to the pin on all par 3’s and was questionable on almost all of them due to the fringe and green looking almost identical. Had clovers and crabgrass growing all over and when putting the ball will often take a few bunny hops before reaching its final destination. I drank plenty of beer so it made it mostly amusing, but for 60$ is not worth itmore in the 30-35 buckaroo range. Enjoy and happy outing.

Theres alot of great things they're improving on and the staff is friendly

Greens are about like putting on the beach, mostly sand. Was told a whole course, greens revamp was coming this summer. The rest of the course was very nice so if they get the greens under control the course will be great! I got a deal for 35 bucks and if I paid more than that I would have rated it less. Looking forward to new greens!

Limited menu but the devil's egg salad sandwich was delicious. Will return for that.
