Jester Mardi Gras Daiquiris - Destin

I consider this pizza place to be the best in Florida. The owner is a genuinely nice guy who took the time to chat with me and recommend a few other eateries while my pizza was being prepared. The pizza itself was exceptional. The crust was thin, folded, crisp, and packed with flavor. The sauce was light and savory, just the right amount. The cheese was abundant (definitely order extra), salty, and creamy. The sausage was quite good as well. I initially wanted just one slice, but by the time I decided, it was too late, so I ended up getting a whole pizza. I even shared slices with random people on the street, and they all enjoyed it. I managed to eat four slices and was very satisfied. While we waited for our pizza, we played ping pong, which made for a fun experience!

A frustrating wait when told it would be sooner. They also didn't actually have the empanadas that are listed on the menu, after waiting in line. Staff wasn't the best about it. And the music was so loud while waiting. The drinks tasted pretty good.

The drinks were decent, but nothing exceptional. I was surprised to see an extra charge of almost $1.00 on my bill because I used a credit card. They didn’t mention that there would be a 4% fee added. If I had known this beforehand, I would have paid in cash. I only noticed the fee later on the bill.

The pizza and daiquiri were decent, but I was surprised to find a charge for water. I spent over $25 and was not informed that the water wasn't complimentary. I understand a small fee for the cup and ice, but a $1 charge felt excessive, especially considering my wife is on medication and can't drink alcohol.

If I could give zero stars I would I couldn’t even drink half of my cheap liquor and koolaid because it’s surely not a daiquiri got sick have to go to hospital can’t stop throwing up and headache from food poisoning
