Pompano Joe's - Destin

It's been a while since we last dined here, and we're so glad we returned. The food, service, and views are all wonderful. The food is excellent and definitely not the typical tourist trap kind of place.

One of the top spots in Destin for enjoying a meal at the bar. Even if you're a local, it still feels like you're on vacation!

Another highly recommended spot in Destin is Pompano Joe's, which is located right on the beach and offers a fantastic atmosphere for Jerry and the crew. One thing you should know about Jerry is that he has a real passion for good crab. Succumbing to this temptation, he naturally had to indulge in some crab. The snow crab he ordered was delicious, although it took every bit of effort he had to crack through it! It was well-seasoned, packed with flavor, and contributed to the overall great vibes of the place. The only downside to snow crab is that it often requires more work than the amount of meat is worth. However, everyone else’s meals looked incredible as well. We'll definitely be coming back! Best, Jerry P.S. Jerry was too busy cracking open the crab to take any photos. Sorry about that!
