The fish is beautiful and the portions are large. The toro is excellent and they offer real wasabi. The rolls are not loaded with crab and mayonnaise. I have visited this restaurant multiple times and have always been pleased with the quality.
I had the fried potstickers, the yellowtail sashimi tarido and the spider roll. The potstickers had a strange texture—kind of chewy when it should’ve been crispy, the jalapeños weren’t spicy at all, and the spider roll was mostly batter. It wasn’t terrible but it was just bland and didn’t taste like the ingredients were super fresh. I sat at the sushi bar and the sushi chef was the most pleasant out of the staff, my server seemed to be too occupied with his large party to check to see if the food was ok. I ate it all because I was hungry and it was palatanlr but I’ll be looking for another place to enjoy sushi
