Bird Rock Coffee Roasters - DEL MAR

One of my favorite coffee shops in the San Diego area. I even bought their coffee beans! I highly recommend the Monkey Bite for espresso!

The restaurant features a spacious outdoor seating area with ample distance between tables, which is great for comfort. They provide clear instructions on where to order and wait in line, showing a strong emphasis on cleanliness and safety in light of COVID-19. I tried the iced dirty horchata; it was a bit pricey, but absolutely delicious!

Incredible coffee and teas, with a fantastic outdoor space for standing and enjoying your drinks (no seating available, but I appreciate the wide-open door, which promotes social distancing). The staff is wonderfully charming! Also, it's worth mentioning that it's located right next to Roberto’s, which offers authentic Mexican food. Good coffee and tea. Limited but good baked goods. Great view! PB Bird Rock has bad service and takes 12 min for 2 coffees and one piece toast! Go to Del Mar.

Great coffee, good ambiance, perfect work meeting location. I came to this new location on a weekday afternoon with a large party, so we were left with an outdoor hightop spot. The view was gorgeous, and the San Diego weather was perfect as usual, but the sun was real. Bring shades sunscreen accordingly if you plan to hangout at a table outside. They do have shaded options, but not every seat is taken care of, especially depending on the time of the day. On separate note, I enjoyed the cute succulents at our table.
