Shipley Do-nuts - Deer Park

I have visited this restaurant around 60 times and have never had a negative experience.

The apple fritters and cinnamon twists are consistently overcooked and hard. It's difficult to find a warm glazed donut. The kolaches are cooked unevenly, with some having burnt and tough edges. The morning kolaches just down the road are much better in comparison.

I will never order from this restaurant again. I purchased 6 kolaches, 5 of which were jalapeño and cheese with sausage. Unfortunately, these 5 were terrible. They were hard on the outside, with dark meat inside, and appeared and tasted old. It was Saturday morning at 8am, so I expected everything to be fresh. I was very disappointed with my experience.

10:30 a.m. and the glazed do-nuts we're still melt in your fresh!! The people that work are always patient (since everything looks sooo good and u sometimes have a hard time making up your mind) and nice. Weak on the coffee tho.Think next time I want coffee I'll throw in the word fresh.
