The Brisket House - Deer Park

I rarely eat grilled food, but my daughter and I decided to try out The Brisket House in Deer Park. We were pleasantly surprised when a man behind the counter offered us a taste of their brisket, which turned out to be the best I've ever had. We ordered the brisket plate with two sides, and it was wonderful. If I had to nitpick, I would prefer a little less mayonnaise in the potato salad and a spicier BBQ sauce. Overall, this place is a winner. If you're looking for a juicy and tender brisket plate, this is the place to go. Two thumbs up!

We stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant while exploring the city. I highly recommend stopping by, you won't regret it. The TBH platter was a great choice and the loaded potato was delicious. The macaroni was also excellent. And let me tell you, the homemade cornbread was absolutely delicious.

The ribs were lacking in meat, with the membrane still intact and served dry without sauce. A single container of sauce was provided for a half rack at the table. The edges of the ribs were especially dry and could have benefited from some extra sauce, if it had been available. Unfortunately, additional sauce was not offered. The side of carrots was small and also dry. The cornbread was shaped like a drop and had a watery honey and sugary flavor. The restaurant seemed to have low foot traffic during the middle of the week, which may have been a factor in the disappointing meal. It is possible that the food was left in a non-steam heating environment for too long, causing it to lose its moisture.
