Long Shot's Sports Cafe - Deep River

It is sad that the only "sports bar" in town is dismal. For the first time in years I was there with friends; unfortunately they were from a major Canadian city and were used to a typical sports bar experience; it became embarrassing for me. We arrived and sat at a table in a totally empty bar, however for reasons unknown it took 5 minutes for one of the waitresses at the bar to stop her gossiping with the other waitresses and acknowledge out presence. Finally she sauntered over and asked what we wanted to drink. When she finally arrived with the drinks we had selected our lunches from the single menu that was already on the table. Over the next 30 minutes piece by piece our lunches arrived. Say no more. go to Petawawa or Pembroke, but avoid this sad excuse for a sports bar like the plague.

Food was good,sports bar kind of feel.we both had wraps which were OK, good fries.service was very good.smallish bar area,located right in downtown area.

Went there for a trivia night and had a great time. Food was great, as was the service. Also went with some friends for a few pints and some Pool. Overall, very good

We love to go to Long Shot's! It's right in the center of town and a great place for a jug of beer/glass of wine with tasty food - and it's all served in a friendly atmpsphere. The fajitas, quesadilla and fish and chips are especially delicious.
