I got endless garnel when I starved, I could have died. very slow, probably need more time for training waiter. biscuits were good and hot, I think the chefs need a little help too. it will take a long time to return.
Our server (Angela) was good even though had a ruff shift.
Red Lobster Decatur, Alabama UPDATED: Sept 2022 Down to 2 from the previous 3. Food, when we could get it was good, and my review would have been at least 3 's except for the service. Approx 2:30pm on Sat, empty parking lot, waited ten minutes to be seated in an empty restaurant, only two other small tables with customers. We always try to visit any restaurant during their shower hours. Server started off polite and friendly but that quickly changed. My family of five was always polite and said please every time we asked for something and ty when she brought it. If we needed napkins we just asked her to bring them the next time she came our way, so she didn 't need to make a special trip. The reorders weren 't always right but we dealt with it and gave whatever it was to one of us that liked that item. After a table of eight was seated behind us, our service went from slow to almost nonexistent! One reorder she brought (which was wrong), she put it on the table so hard that all of us were startled and jumped. Another order instead of walking around the round table to place it in front of my daughter, she set it down on the opposite side of the table and pushed it hard enough to slide it all the way across. I was really upset by this type of service. I 've gotten barely warm food from here over the years but never service this bad. I spoke with the manager a few days later. While she was nice, she just made excuses about them being short handed and overwhelmed. There literally were maybe seven tables with people by the time we left and we saw at least three servers. It 's not like the place was packed with a dinner rush! If you can 't handle some pressure and still be good at your job and polite to your customers, maybe you should look for a job where you don 't have to serve people? If customers are being nice they 're is no excuse for you to be rude or unattentive. The saying the customers always right isn 't necessarily true, but without them you have no job or paycheck.
We had a great experience at this Red Lobster. Our server, Emily, was absolutely wonderful! One of my sides didn't come out the way she wanted it to so she even went back to the kitchen and made sure it came back perfect. She didn't want to bring something that wasn't done right out to the table. I think a lot of people are missing out if they aren't coming here. The service is fantastic and the food was delicious!
