Tiki Lounge - Days Bay New Zealand

I wish I could give tiki lounge more stars. The highlights: I love the music and the space. This is a place I wouldn't normally go to but decided to give it a chance. The service is quite poor and lacks experience. Sorry. The food is ok. There were bones in my salmon. Not a highlight. This place is very quiet and needs some attention.

This place now looks AMAZING I am the new chef and am trying my best to serve the best food I can please if you don't enjoy your kai please let me know asap so I can make it the way you like it

I was invited along for dinner and read the reviews, before I left so I wasn't expecting much...my mistake because the steak I ordered was devine. It was nice size thick steak,cooked rare the way that all steaks should be ordered lol) and tender as he butter gave the steak an extra depth of flavour and the knife cut through it like butter :)the salad with the pesto was flavoursome was a great combination with the steak and chips. The other items order on the table was the pasta, nachos both got great reviews we also shared choc fondue which was yummy and the mocha milkshake and what I had of the snickers milkshake were just fab.

Great staff made us feel more than welcome. . Food was good and exceeded our expectations. Portion size was good too. I have the mention. .. the Snickers specialty milk shake was to die for... I'd go back just for that alone... keep up the good work Tiki Lounge

LOVE this place, whenever my sister is home, we go for brunch as much as possible!! It's always a little on the chilly side, but this does little to take away from the great atmosphere and awesome service. Thanks guys!!
