Lily's Dining Room - Dawson Creek

The hospitality at this hotel is exceptional. The staff at this hotel, from the receptionist, to the housekeeper, to the servers in the restaurant, are fantastic. This was our first stay at this hotel, and everything here was done with such amazing care to make me and my family feel welcome. They went above and beyond when they discovered it was one of my child's birthdays, and their kindness truly touched us. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed at the George Dawson for a hockey tournament and had a great experience. The Gas House restaurant was affordable, clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly.

This guesthouse was amazing! We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be returning. After coming back extremely late from a very long drive, we encountered car problems just short of our destination. The staff was great and provided us with a complimentary breakfast from the on-site restaurant. The staff was also very kind and the manager was fantastic! She allowed us to have a late checkout so that our tired baby could get some rest. They even gave us information on a great restaurant in the city, as we had a long and stressful journey ahead of us to reach our family before Christmas. Despite all the road and vehicle issues we faced, it was comforting to know that we could have a much-needed break with such a welcoming staff. I highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone in need. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels while traveling and have never had such a positive experience.

The restaurant in the lobby is excellent. good service and eating was so good

The GDI has been around for ages. I used to stay here and the only thing which hasn't changed is the location The food is MUCH better (check out their free real breakfast yum), the rooms have been updated and the staff is ultra-friendly and accommodating Tracey and Taylor will make you feel at home at the GDI. Just don't put your feet up on the coffee table! You shouldn't do that at home anyhoo, js The only suggestion I have is that electric kettles be available at the front desk. Aside from that, enjoy!
