Stuie's Diner - Dawson Creek

Time traveling for a late lunch today. It was recommended by a friend and the experience was truly amazing. The business and property are for sale so lets hope this great place will continue to be great after changing ownership. It's a real gem in Dawson Creek.

Great classic style place. So much character. Great food. Was back in today. It is a tradition to have breakfast here during every visit to DC. The staff is friendly, the food tastes great, and the portions are huge. Absolutely recommend this place for anyone coming through town. You will not be disappointed

Our waitress was great when telling her didn’t want onions she inquired if it was an allergy. Which all waitstaff should do! Just a personal preference but she proceeded to tell us the hamburger was made with onions so the one guest got the chicken burger which was fine no complaints. The smokehouse burger is full of flavour and HOMEMADE,like they did in the 50 well done ! Big slice of apple pie with a apple crisp topping nice change. Only complaint is the poutine both on the smaller portion size, and cheddar cheese not curds . Disappointing when you pay extra!

We got in 40 minutes before closing and were given great service! Highly recommend their homemade soup, hearty af. Homemade pie is also to die for it keeps crust and filling texture on the next day A must try location in town.
