Smokey J's Bbq - Davidson

I've been wanting some good BBQ which was hard to find in Mooresville/Davidson area. Not any more!! This was some great BBQ and the best beans I've ever had. I'll definitely be back.

Picked up takeout from the truck at the Davidson summer concert event. The banana pudding is amazing (and finished before we took a picture)! The brisket was so soft and and easily picked apart with a fork. Mac and cheese also great! Burnt ends were a tad too burnt for my taste but still yummy. Looking forward to exploring their menu further.

Rib platter is on 4 ribs? Always love smokey J's but seems a little slim!

Friendly, family owned business, with great BBQ... loved everything I've tried.Only problem I got is i can't get the menu to come up on their site... but really a non issue, my order is aways prepared quickly. Slowest part is me trying to make up my mind, what I want.

This is by far the best lunch I've had in a long time! Banana pudding taste like eating heaven. The BBQ was amazing not too wet and not too dry! I will be driving back here again just for food.
