The Precinct Tavern - DARWIN CITY

Great area to sit and relax, food was average, plenty of choice on offer for beers. Sat down at the restaurant for lunch and ordered at the bar area......,okay. Also ordered 2 beers at the same time but had to walk 25mts to the other bar to get beers. Food took a while to come out and because we had almost finished first beers we asked for 2 more when they brought the food out. Sorry, they said, you have to go to the bar, we do not serve here. Of to the bar, stand in line and wait, get my 2 beers and back to the table. Beers are nice and cold and so is the food now. First time/ last time visitor to this place.

We had the steak which was cooked to our liking. The wait staff where friendly, helpful and attentive. Great selection of beers and other drinks. Value for money.

If you are looking for a great chill out pub to catch up with friends - look no further, this is the spot. It has great food and beverages at all reasonable prices. Surrounded by Darwin's lush greenery, you can't ask for a better setting. Highly recommend a visit.

I have had lunch at the Precinct 4 times in 2 weeks it is that good. The vege parsel with chickpeas and goats cheese is to die for! The service has been great- very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The mussels are absolutely delicious- perfectly cooked and so plump and tasty. I cannot wait to eat them again. These 2 meals is all I can pick on the menu everytime as they are sooo good. My friends have had other meals on the menu and rave about them aswell. Love the food!

We stopped in here for a few drinks before getting a taxi to the races. Great service and plenty of beers on tap, just what we needed to start our day. The waitress was from Wales and we really enjoyed our banter with her. Plenty of families having lunch, whilst we did not eat but bye viewing people's meals the looked great on presentation. If you are down the waterfront I highly recommend stopping in here.
