Oyster Bar Darwin - DARWIN CITY

30 minutes waiting for natural oysters gave up. We were there today, Thursday, ordered paid at the bar for a beer 6 natural oysters. Collected beer at the bar, after 20 minutes asked where the oysters were told they were coming. After 30 minutes we gave up and cancelled the order left. Cafe was only about half full but only 1 waiter serving food. Not recommended. If they cannot serve natural oysters after 30 minutes something is wrong with the kitchen.

A while since we long term locals ate here after a change of management. $120 wasted on oysters that were pea sized in awful sauces. Manager isn’t a manager. Chef calls the shots. Food was vile, don’t go,

Don't trust google. They are definitely NOT open late. Because of their published opening times we came late (before 9 PM). The staff was rude, didn't even apologise. They also said they couldn't change the online opening hours and there was no indication of passing this on to management. We went somewhere else and will definitely never come back. A polite apology would have gone far...

We enjoyed a delicious meal! We had the 12 oysters, cooked 4 different ways, great! My barramundi was the best I’d eaten, good sized serve and my husband had the crab pasta which he thoroughly enjoyed.

After reading the reviews I was a little apprehensive, but decided to give it a try anyway. I can honestly say the oysters (Crab and Bernadine) I had were absolutely delicious. I also had the Kangaroo Spring Rolls which were also delicious. I would recommend this place to eat and would come back again. Great catch up with friends
