Rosan Japanese Cuisine - Darlinghurst

This place is in a cozy street in the suburbs on darlinghurst. it was under a group of busy mini-restaurant. viet and italian. as we were tourist, we decided to swing early and hopefully a table for our group of arrival who tried their best to press us in their fully booked venue. fortunately we got a table. we ordered a lot of order to share. first came the deep fried pfeifenfisch. fantastic tempura broken fish slices and pieces crispy fish frames that they could eat all bones out. next was the tuna head soup. very fishy in the did. they don't know whether it should taste like that or what. next came the sushi mixing plate. I love a good sushi and they had a great choice. it was slightly warm or at room temperature. at this point I was put a bit off when the idea of chewing a raw fish that could possibly carry parasites at a certain temperature ran through my understanding. the rest was only history. karage was also decent, but I didn't have much appetit after the raw fish incident. mishap or should be eaten like this after the cook? who knows. if the question, the staff could hardly speak much English only kindly replied that they let the cook know.

Fabulous Japanese restaurant serves traditional cuisine with reasonable trips. service is attentive and efficient. very recommended! The portion sizes are good and the sauces used were so delicious, they want to lick their plate clean! are served in sweet and artsy small plates and dishes. good selection of sake- are in the rule not a fan of but tries sake called thatai' and I am now transformed.

We had a great meal with fantastic service in this restaurant. all dishes were so delicious with some creative offered. we enjoyed the crispy garnelensalat, knödel, oldashi thun and auberginen, meerroter lachsnigari and the pig bell. eating plus wein came to...only $30 per head! more amazingly worth especially for the trendy location.

I gather that the owner may be former chef in the ana hotel in sydney shows at pink the service is fast and efficient by the Japanese staff the sashimi was very fresh and high quality and the steak was cooked. to perfection my wife is japanese and she was super impressed we will return

We have a fabulous dinner with our friends and her family. We tried the entree sesame spinach, tofu salad, main in sea urchin with seaweed, salmon sashimi, raw beef sushi, flamed salmon sushi, eel with rice, slow cooked pork, fish head dish. Overall all dishes...were very delicious and the boss is very friendly too. Surely go back again if we go to Sydney!!!
