Hot latte in a mug as requested. Super fresh warm pikelets with jam. Great friendly service. Nice outside tables in the sun with shade option. All day bfast. Freshly made sandwiches.. good cake & coffee deals.. progressive young staff.

I like this cafe - it's a great little one in the middle of the shopping zone with the big retailers around it. The menu could be a little better for dietary requirements and the kitchen open later, but it is a little cafe. Overall, they try hard and what they do offer is good.

We called in here for a quick, late lunch just before the kitchen closed. The service was good and the staff member helpful in checking out ingredients for our dietary requirements. Limited menu, but we found something suitable to eat after shopping and before an afternoon engagement. It was plain, simple food, but the chai lattes were very tasty; not too sweet, and just the right temperature.

Went to Steam Scene with a client. Service was average but girls nice. Not much choice in the snack cakes section but ordered gluten free banana bread. It arrived with the coffee we had ordered and the banana bread was ok but the coffee was so week and no flavour even my disability client said it was yuck and no flavour. Would not go back there again for coffee. When i asked the girl how much coffee was in a cup she said 30mls. I told her it was very week and she said with a smart tone if you told me earlier i could have remade it. I had only drunk 2 sips anyway. Never again.

Visited for a take away coffee. It was around lunch time and staff, one person, seemed a little harassed trying to table serve customers as well as prepare drinks. Not my style of cafe, too pokey and narrow with no view to outside. Definitely would not go there for a meal because of this and the fact that the staff seem to be inexperienced at serving groups of people
