Brewers Fayre Chequers Corner

Was to check the place since it opened. I had chickens with speckkäse and fries my meal was decent. my partner had fish and chips with tartaric lap that they enjoyed their meal. my 3 year old son had speck and mushroom pizza with garlic bread and chips his pizza was terrible, he loved eating, but let it halfway through we tried it and honestly it was not nice. my 3 year old daughter had cod with muddy heaps and fries that she loved her food we went for floorless softdrinks and 2 juices total bill 25gbp, which was not bad at all. service was very friendly and atmosphere beautiful the place looked beautiful not typical ugly pub verdict would go again, but would avoid pizza at all costs

This is a fantastic restaurant with excellent service and delicious food. The staff is wonderful, especially Pam, and I can't wait to return!

I visited a nearby restaurant for a classic British afternoon meal and ordered lamb, mushrooms, and fish and chips, all of which we thoroughly enjoyed. The fish and chips were fantastic—crispy and delicious. However, the slurries could have been cooked a bit better. Overall, I wish there had been larger portions and more flavor. I only gave it a 5-star rating because the service was lacking, and the waitstaff were not very attentive.

However, I do want to mention one aspect unrelated to the staff or service—the new parking situation. They offer three hours of free parking, but after that, it costs £5 for an additional two hours. We found this a bit excessive, especially since we had already spent a considerable amount on food and drinks that evening. Perhaps the restaurant could consider some adjustments regarding the parking for their guests? This was the only downside to an otherwise fantastic experience.
