Pizza Centro - Cuyamungue

Their pizza tastes nothing like NY pizzas. I've eaten both. Pizza was dry. It was so overcooked. Crust thick, yuck. Dough tough. Salad? It was lettuce and bell peppers, nothing more. Very boring salad and disappointing pizza.

I was impressed with my take out Margherita pizza from Pizza Centro. The crust could have had a little more flavor, but the simple sauce/cheese and basil topping were very good, The sauce is rich/deep full of tomato flavor and there was plenty of cheese. My wife and I split the large and it was huge. I'll be back for sure, and if the crust had a little more flavor/texture this place would be my go to spot. This is definitely a step up from the national chains Recommended

This used to be our go to spot for solid pizza. Typically we order a plain pepperoni or the Alphabet City pizzas. In the last two weeks we have ordered both and YUCK! The pizzas were super greasy with large puddles of oil and cut haphazardly; did they use a butter knife? I don’t know what happened to this place, but talk about MAKE YOU WANNA PUKE! Let me underscore “ PUKE”. New staff? I called twice and no one answered. When I showed up, so I could finally order, there was some guy working that looked high out of his mind and could barely form a sentence. So happy he handled my food. He’s probably the manager.

Not friendly from the start. We were treated as an inconvenience. Started closing 40 minutes prior to close time. They put the gelato away and started sweeping up. Very disappointed.
