As someone from South Texas, I consider myself an expert on Mexican cuisine. This restaurant truly hits the mark, and it's located in Southern Louisiana! The food is fantastic, and the service is excellent.
The place is a cozy Mexican joint with good salsas. If that's good, the rest is safe. And that was it. I'm going here when I was in Galliano not to sit down and enjoy a meal. The Black Pearl is really good. The only thing they should add is fresh horchata.
A group of ladies and I gathered for dinner while enjoying a presentation of Chaulk Couture. Our waitress was fantastic, and the food was delicious! Thank you, El Paso!
Love his place and the awesome owners! They have kept us well fed and “hydrated” during quarantine!!
