Wow Cafe - Cut Off

I've tried fried shrimp platters all along the Gulf Coast, but the shrimp here is truly exceptional! We're from Shreveport, and I would gladly make the drive once a month or as often as I can. The shrimp were plump, perfectly cooked with a seasoned flour coating, and tasted incredibly fresh! The sides were fantastic too; I had the coleslaw and steamed vegetables. The prices are great, and they don't skimp on portions. I just wish you all were in Shreveport! The staff is friendly and welcoming. I could go on and on! The folks in Cut Off are amazing. I'm definitely getting takeout for the trip back and will be eating here again today. - Melanie Gamble

This restaurant is quite remarkable. As someone who enjoys cooking and values quality and attention to detail, I can truly appreciate the effort they put into their crawfish boil. After boiling the crawfish, they sauté them with Cajun seasoning, butter, onions, and bell peppers — it's a must-try! I also had the ribs, wings, fried shrimp, mashed potatoes, BBQ beans, and fried pickles, and everything was delicious. However, I would suggest to the chef to make the fried pickles a bit crunchier.
