Denial South Dakota - Custer

Denial is a fantastic spot for a laid-back drink (or more) on its beautifully decorated and cozy terrace, or in the comfortable indoor seating area. The beverage menu features a range of local and non-local wines, beers, and delightful wine cocktails. The food options include lighter fare (but you won't leave hungry) such as various charcuterie boards and a soup. If you have a sweet tooth, they also offer dessert tasting boards. At the front of the tasting room, there's a small shop where you can enjoy free tastings of oils and balsamic vinegar, along with a selection of cheeses, gifts, and, of course, bottled wine! If you're looking for a relaxed environment to enjoy gentle live music on the terrace, or some refreshing drinks indoors to escape the heat, Denial is a must-visit! Plus, dogs are welcome to lounge on the shaded terrace, complete with water bowls and biscuits provided outside!

Beer choices were good and the owner was very pleasant and friendly. The place was really neat.

The food was fantastic, and the owner was extremely friendly. We will certainly add this to our regular stops on our yearly trip to Custer.

The food was excellent. I had the chili served in a bread bowl, which was perfect for the setting. It’s a fun place, and I picked up some unique gifts for my family to take home.
