Vivi's - Cupertino

Vivi has been in Cupertino for as long as I've lived here, which is my entire life. It's a classic mom-and-pop restaurant located near the post office, and it's often filled with locals at lunchtime throughout the week. While they are famous for their falafels, I also really enjoy their BLT. The service may not be the quickest, but since they prepare everything when you order, you can be sure it's fresh. Just a tip: be sure to call ahead for takeout orders!

All the reviews stating “Worst customer service ever” are absolutely correct. It feels like a mom-and-pop shop that you'd rather avoid. I decided to try ordering a large pizza, but when I handed over $25 instead of $20, I received $5.50 in change. I thought she had given me too much, so I asked if that was indeed the correct change. Instead of clarifying, she rudely implied that the extra $5 was mine, treating me like I was foolish for questioning it. Even though I did make a mistake, good customer service should never belittle a customer. Feeling frustrated by her attitude, I ultimately canceled my order and left. I've never experienced such poor service from a restaurant, and her behavior was generally unpleasant. A simple smile and a more professional demeanor would go a long way!
