The fish here is cooked to perfection—just opaque enough and flakes beautifully, without being overdone at all. While the XLB and potstickers aren’t the best I've had, they’re still good, especially when dipped in black vinegar. The green onion pancakes are a bit crispier than I prefer, but they're still enjoyable. The trip is definitely worth it just for the fish and tofu, not to mention the rice that’s perfect for soaking up the delicious sauce. Sorry, no photos; we devoured everything!
This Chinese restaurant features a wide variety of dishes from different regions. Although we didn't sample the spicy southwestern offerings, the northern dishes we tried were outstanding. The beef pancake, which seemed basic at first, turned out to be wonderfully rich; its thick, indulgent crust reminded me of a Chinese take on Wellington. Food rating: 4/5.
I've been to this restaurant over a dozen times for both dining in and takeout since it opened during the pandemic. They have a wide range of excellent dishes. The glass noodle stew with homemade fermented cabbage and pork is particularly exceptional. The vegetables are consistently fresh and served in generous portions. Overall, I would give the food a perfect rating of 5 out of 5.
Solid chinese food. We always order the steamed fish with tofu and the beef pancake rolls (the pancake is thicker than the taiwanese version, but still good).
The food was good. Be aware that spicy is real spicy. Service was fair. New employee, so he did a good job. Atmosphere is as strip mall restaurant.
