Comes with a hearty soup, may want to add some extra pancakes since they run out pretty quick. Can't compare to eating it fresh in the restaurant but still pretty good given the circumstances. I find some of their other dishes too salty/heavy for my tastes but the duck is excellent.
Made a lunch reservation over the phone for a group a few days in advance, and was told it had to start at 11:30 because they close at 2pm. Make sure to also reserve a duck (or more) instead of just the table. They carve the duck in front of you, which results in two plates of delicious duck the meat was juicy and tender and the skin was crunchy and fatty. One duck order is plenty for at least 2 wraps per person for us, with still some duck leftover. Most groups will definitely need to ask for more of the wrap. You can make the leftover duck into a soup, or eat the bones fried. The soup was delicious. We also ordered a variety of other dishes, which were great. The service was excellent and the food came out speedily. A popular choice is the spicy cauliflower dish which I would recommend. If you have a lower spice tolerance like myself, then just ask them to make their dishes less spicy if possible, and most things should then be tolerable. I would definitely return!
I called around 3:30 PM and was able to pick up an order of Peking Duck at 5PM. I like how they give you the option to pick up their Peking Duck Set that comes with 2 container of duck napa cabbage soup. Overall pretty delicious! I wish they gave a bit more cucumbers and green onion.
The duck was great. But really, have you ever had a bad duck? You have to order in advance if you want one. We ordered one at the time we called for a reservation. The duck was prepped at table-side, and the presentation was pretty good. It was steaming hot. You get two plates of meat/skin and the rest of the duck is brought back to the kitchen to make a soup to be brought out later. The hoisin sauce didn't come with any spoon or anything so we had to use our chopsticks. The eggplant dish was pretty flavorful. The cauliflower was unique, and very good too. It wasn't overcooked. Food came out at a very reasonable pace. Unfortunately, the soup made from the duck was pretty bland. They simply forgot to add salt. We actually asked for salt and added it to our individual bowls.
BIG NEWS: you no longer need to call one day ahead to order the duck. I was able to order it day of using their qMenu system online. It's a bit tricky to navigate if you don't know Chinese but just use Google Translate and you will be fine. Best peking duck in the peninsula region!
