Simonette At Palihotel Culver City

I had the coq roti with green beans and fries, the tapenade and the little gem salad. The tapenade is very salty and applied to the bread as if it were peanut butter. The fries were good but the green beans were not. The green beans needed salt. The chicken was okay but the white meat was dry. The salad has a good dressing but way too much. It ruined it. Why is a huge $12 bottle of sparkling water the only sparkling option? Couldn’t even give us a plain glass of soda from the bar as requested? After we paid and left I realized we were charged for the fries they brought to our table by mistake before the meal. The salad came after the entree. The server was really nice but the service was terrible. We had to wave him down for everything. Even to get the check and pick up the cards after that. The music was really loud. Don’t expect to have a conversation without yelling. Go back? Probably not.

One of my favorite places to brunch. Food is great and also the cocktails.

Cute, small restaurant in lobby floor of hotel. Loved the small gem salad filet. Nice variety of cocktails.

Food was disappointing and not worth the price (except the oysters).
