Samosa House East - Culver City

I recently dined at a cafeteria-style vegetarian Indian buffet that also offered a few other menu items. I tried the veggie korma, pakora curry, and jackfruit curry with papadam. All of the dishes were gluten-free, and all except for the pakora curry were vegan. They were accommodating and allowed me to substitute soup for yogurt since I'm strictly vegan. I particularly enjoyed the veggie and pakora curry, while the jackfruit curry was just okay. The papadam was a little burned, but some people may actually prefer it that way. Overall, the prices were very reasonable, and I would definitely consider going back for another meal.

Samosa House East (and West) offers some of the tastiest Indian fast food in town. With a majority of vegan options that are bursting with flavor, I have never been disappointed. It's a great way to satisfy your hunger without breaking the bank. #Veganuary

Our son introduced this place to us and we’ve been hooked every since. I always get a combo plate and that Naan!!!

1st I want to say there were plenty of vegan options. Only a couple of options had yogurt which made them vegetarian, but otherwise there is no meat or fish here which is a huge win! The Samosas and lentil soup were good. The rest was ok, some things even tasted watered down and lacked flavor. I ordered 3 options from the food bar, chana masala, saag, and an eggplant dish. Came with lentil soup. Good quantities, lots of options, excellent prices but the flavor was just ok (and I usually love Indian food). Hubby had the 2 vegetarian options w yogurt in the sauce (can’t remember his dishes) and said they were pretty good. I could be open to trying this place again to see if I prefer other dishes.
