La Chiapaneca - Culpeper

I didnt get a chance to take a photo of the torta sandwich before I inhaled it yesterday. Which was absolutely perfection! Even heating it up later in the toaster oven when I couldnt finish it all. The dipping sauce was delicious! Not too salty but plenty of flavor (I am a salty girl personally but sometimes places oversalt stuff lately). I saved the pupusas for today for lunch. Now I am super picky about pupusas after get them for years from a mom and pop shop in Quantico right off base. On a scale of 1-10 the pupusas get a 7. I am used to getting them with the curtido (spicy coleslaw). But I realize that other places might do it differently. Additionally they might have been better the sam day. This place still gets 5 stars from me basedon food quality, presentation, and price. I will still give theses pupusas a try again. But I will absolutely be back for that torta sandwich and try other things as well! Thank you for pitching up a tent here in Culpeper! (The salsa on top of the pupusas was not included in the dish from the restaurant)

I was so disappointed, too much cheese and barely any sour cream, everything was soggy and the cheese was darker and tasted different. I hope this was a one time thing.

Chicken Strips were over cooked and dryer than the sahara and fries were unseasoned. The Cheese Fries were great

If this place ever goes out of business Ill probably die; their Birria Tacos are literally giving me life every week.
